Concetta Didato, a 91 year old longtime resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest December 8 at Griffin Hospital.
She was born Oct. 15, 1929 in Derby, daughter of the late Salvatore & Josephine DiMauro Didato. She worked for United Technologies and was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia.
She is survived by her nephew Robert Didato and wife Evelyn of Oxford, her niece Lynn Klubek and husband Michael, and grandnieces Janice Bondi and Samantha Klubek. She was predeceased by her brothers Emmanuel “Nello” Didato, Sebastian Didato, and sister Ann Didato. Her niece Beth Popowski passed shortly after Concetta’s passing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Dr, Ansonia. Interment will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Concetta’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Alternatively, one may make a donation in her memory to her church. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
