Concetta M. “Connie” Montefusco, 81, of Ansonia, unexpectedly entered into peaceful rest on November 8, 2010, in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis F. Montefusco.
Mrs. Montefusco was born in Ansonia on March 23, 1929, daughter of the late Carmen and Virginia Santilli Bonadies. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was devoted to her family. Connie enjoyed needlework, visiting the casino’s, and was an active member of the Ansonia, Derby, and Shelton Senior Centers.
She is survived by two loving daughters, Ginny Bowolick and her husband Andrew of Milford and Janice Bshara and her husband Richard of Ansonia, a brother, Joseph A. Bonadies and his wife Anna of Seymour, five cherished grandchildren, Jordan (Jennifer) Bshara of Beacon Falls, Christine (Brendan) O’Hayre of Seymour, Gregory (Julie) Bshara of Milford, Lisa (Christopher) Mulvey of MA, and Timothy (Khadija) Bshara of Ansonia, nine great-grandchildren, Kyle and Nick Bshara, Mackenzie O’Hayre, Jack Bshara, Tessa, Ellie, and Maxwell Mulvey, Meghan O’Hayre, and Lyla Bshara, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Louise Montefusco.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral on Friday November 12, 2010, at 8:15am from the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at the Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia.
