Constance E. (Tuccio) Valentine, 95, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday February 18, 2017, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Harris Valentine.
Mrs. Valentine was born at home in Ansonia on January 10, 1922, daughter of the late Pietro and Sebastiana Luistro Tuccio. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she enjoyed arts & crafts, baking and especially being surrounded by loving family.
She is survived by a son, Wesley L. Valentine, daughters, Christine Valentine and Carol Valentine, all of Ansonia, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Samuel, Michael, John, James, Frank and Thomas Tuccio and sisters, Lucy Millican, Rose Tuccio and Sarah Towne.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday February 21, 2017, from 4 – 7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Wednesday, her funeral will commence at 9:15 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Private burial will take place in Trinity Cemetery in Seymour at the convenience of the family.
