Curtis L. Bennett, age 30, entered into the heavenly arms of his mother on November 6, 2020.
Curtis was born in Milford on January 15, 1990, beloved son of Thomas E. Bennett Jr. of Seymour and the late Jane E. Pardee-Bennett. A graduate of Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia, he was employed at Bennett Builders Painting. Each day, he enjoyed learning work & life skills from his dad and Uncle John. Curtis loved being surrounded by his family and friends and had a passion for fishing, video games, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and working in the pit at car races. Some of his favorite times were Hibachi dinners with the whole family and attending The Vibes with his father. Curtis is remembered by his family for his kind, loving heart.
In addition to his father Tom, he leaves to cherish his memory, loving sisters, Jill E. Bennett of Seymour and Kelly M. Bennett of Ansonia, uncles, John Bennett (Corinne) of Milford and Stephen Pardee of NY, NY, aunts, Lynn Bennett-Wallick of Naugatuck, Nan Piccolo (Ted) of NH, Elizabeth Lionetti (Tom) of Derby and Susan Pardee of Branford, nephews, Damien Granda and Kane Granda of Seymour, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Thomas E. Bennett Sr. and Beatrice Curtis Bennett and his maternal grandparents, Lee Pardee and Ardis Pardee.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Friday November 13, 2020, at 10:00 am, meeting directly at the Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 until Mass begins. Masks will be required and physical distancing inside the church is expected. His burial will immediately follow in the family plot in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
