Daniel Fry

It is with extreme sadness that the family of Daniel Fry announce his passing on July 8, 2022, age 50, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the loving and devoted husband of Michelle Richwein Fry and adoring father of Delaney and Madison Fry.

A resident of Seymour for nineteen years, he was the owner and operator of Ansonia Auto Park in Ansonia since 2005.

Dan met his beloved wife Michelle in 1999 and together they raised two beautiful daughters who were his world. In October of this year, Dan and Michelle would have celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary. Dan loved traveling with his family to England and Disney and was especially happy taking their annual summer trips to Lake George and New York City during the Christmas season.

Dan was a big kid” at heart and could always be found surrounded by children at a party or picnic engaging them in activities and some mischief. He had a kind and generous spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Michelle and daughters Delaney and Madison, Dan leaves to cherish his memory, a brother, Matt Fry and his wife Nina of England, mother-in-law, Denise Stromp of Derby, along with many loving family members and friends.
