Daniel J. Goodman, a 50 year old Canaan, Ct. resident and an avid hunter and fisherman, passed away Sept. 12 doing what he loved to do, fishing offshore.
He was born Dec. 2, 1958 in Derby, son of Frank Goodman of Southbury and the late Patricia Rish Goodman.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother Scott in 1994.
A graduate of Shelton High School, he worked as a coordinator for Mountainside Lodge in Canaan.
Daniel is survived by his father Frank Goodman and step mother Linda Goodman of Southbury, his daughter Chelsea Goodman of Ansonia, sister Tracy Fanelli and two nephews, Michael & Kevin Fanelli, all of Oxford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church in Southbury.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
