Daniel Richard “Danny” Edwards, Jr., age 49 of Oxford entered peaceful rest on July 19, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital; he was the beloved husband of Nancy (Beamer) Edwards.
Mr. Edwards was born on January 5, 1966 in Derby, loving son of Carol (Giovacchino) Edwards of Oxford, and the late Daniel R. Edwards, Sr.
Danny was employed by Guerrera Construction Company, Oxford as a Heavy Machine Operator. Daniel was a 1985 graduate of Nonnewaug High School, Woodbury. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Danny could always be found tinkering in his garage.
In addition to his wife and mother, Danny leaves his loving family including his daughter, Shelby Edwards of Oxford, his brothers, Keith and Kevin Edwards both of Oxford, his nieces and nephews, Kris, Jessie, Kara, Lyndsay, and Emily, and a great nephew, Andrew, and many devoted friends.
Calling Hours are Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. All other services and interment will be private.
