Daryl Rhys Venson, a 25-year-old Ansonia resident, entered into eternal rest March 9.
He was born December 18, 1985 in Derby, son of Melissa Ford and Shawn L. Venson.
He attended the Ansonia public school system and graduated from Ansonia High School in 2003.
In addition to his parents Melissa and Shawn, he leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Shayla Denise Ford, Jared and Jada Venson, his darling son Montez Darius Venson, the mother of his son, Tabitha Smith, longtime girlfriend Sherri McCarthy and her son Jonathan, step mother Catherine “Cassie” Venson, and his maternal grandmother, Florence Austin Ford.
Too many to name are the host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will, for their lifetime, carry his memory deeply in their hearts.
All who love Daryl most dearly are comforted by knowing that he will at last rejoin, in peace, Damontis “Monty” Johnson, the cousin and best friend he had longed for since his passing in 2002.
In addition to Monty, he was predeceased by his baby brother James Furman Dimery IV, his maternal grandfather, Harry Francis Ford, and paternal grandparents George Maynard and Lillie Bee Venson.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 11:00a.m. from The Bishop Williams Church of God in Christ in Ansonia.
Rev. Samuel Levey will officiate.
Friends may call on Tuesday at church, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the service.
