David B. Mazerolle, age 60 of Southbury, beloved husband of Robin (Vanessa) Rancourt Mazerolle, passed away September 21, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
David was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, July 2, 1955, son of Jeannette Michaud Mazerolle and the late Berton Mazerolle.
During his life, he was a self-employed carpenter for many years.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, David Mazerolle, Jr. of Shelton; his stepson, J.R. Winthal of Bridgeport; his grandson, Jayden Mazerolle of Shelton; his brother, Michael Mazerolle and his wife Nancy of Seymour; his sisters, Lyne Mazerolle of Ansonia, Kathy Correia and her husband Joseph of Shelton, Sharon Guidi and her husband Jack of Oxford, and Lisa Ross and her husband Larry of Monroe; his sister-in-law, Susan Laird and her husband James of Milford; his brother-in-law, David Rancourt and his wife Diana of Florida; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his cats who he loved very much, Bandit, Blizzard, Kit Kit, Blackie, Mackela, and Midnight. He was predeceased by his son, Keith Mazerolle.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 8 PM in the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave., Shelton.
