David Edward Cronin, a 57 year old Shelton resident, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 2.
He was born April 4, 1955 in Derby, son of the late Agnes Nelson Cronin & Charles F. Cronin. He worked for Better Packages in Shelton for over 25 years.
David was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Red Sox & Bruins fan, but he especially loved following the sporting events of his nieces & nephews.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Christine Rose of Shelton, Alice Cronin-Golomb (Mark) of Reading, Mass., & Karen Cook of Milford, and was “Uncle Davey” to Keith, Melissa, Corey, Lucy, Zack, Olivia, Cam, Ben, Gabe, Keith Jr., Vinny, Dylan & Megan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com)
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Birmingham Group Health Services on 435 East Main St. Ansonia.
