David K. McKnight, 29, of New Haven, formerly of Ansonia, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on September 7, 2015, in his home. He was the fiancée of Laura Powell.
David was born in Calcutta, India on March 13, 1986, beloved son of the late Gayle P. McKnight, who recently passed away on August 20, 2015. He was employed as a freight loader at United Parcel Service in Stratford. David was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching football.
He is survived by a loving brother, Michael R. McKnight (Theresa) of Ansonia, aunts, Diane Rizzo of Elmsford, NY, JoAnn DiGesu (Vincent) of Staten Island, NY and Kathy Duhon (Robert) of Woodbridge and several cousins and friends.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects and greet the family on Saturday September 12, 2015, from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 11:00 am, a funeral service in celebration of David’s life will take place with Rev. James Midgley officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
