David L. Lanci, age 85, entered into eternal rest on May 27, 2020, at Shady Knoll Health Care in Seymour. He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria Geloso Lanci.
Mr. Lanci was born in Albany, NY on January 16, 1935, son of the late Primo Lanci and Ellen Ogden Cash. A resident of Seymour for fifty-five years, he was employed as a truck driver for the former Axton Cross Chemical Co. in North Haven until his retirement. He enjoyed tending to his garden and being surrounded by his family.
He leaves to, cherish his memory, a son, James D. Lanci (Janet) of Beacon Falls, a daughter, Davida Munevich of Seymour, brothers, Daniel Lanci of FL and Robert Lanci (Beverly) of Wallingford, a sister, Judith Martin (George) of FL, grandchildren, Melanie Orfiss (Stephen) and Amanda Munevich of Seymour, Christopher Lanci (Samantha) of Ansonia and Alexandra Lanci of Beacon Falls, great-grandchildren, Jakelynn and Gracelynn Orfiss and Logan Lanci as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Jacob M. Munevich.
