David M. Boyle, age 87, of Shelton, peacefully entered into rest in his home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne Rose (Trembeczki) Boyle. David was born in Bridgeport on December 3, 1936, son of the late Martin and Bridget (Fallon) Boyle, and lived most of his life in Fairfield before moving to Shelton 20 years ago.
He is the beloved father of David Boyle and his wife Gail, Michael Boyle and his girlfriend Marisa, and Lisa Boyle, and proud grandfather of Luke, Owen, Abby, and Emma. He was predeceased by seven siblings, Martin, Edward, Frances, and James Boyle, and Mary Perchaluk, Margaret Barnes, and Joan Boyle, and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was the owner/operator of DML Printing and later worked as a printer for CCL Labels in Shelton for many years before his retirement. An animal lover, David raised numerous dogs over the years. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church Men’s Club and a longtime member of the Gaelic-American Club in Fairfield, where he served as President of Feile for several years .
Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church, 420 Coram Ave., Shelton on Tuesday, Sept 17, 2024, at 10 am. Burial in Riverside Cemetery will be private.
