Dawn M. (Lotto) Sturwold, age 41, unexpectedly entered into peaceful rest on May 11, 2022, at Bridgeport Hospital, of complications from a fall. She was the loving fiancé of Christopher Marcucio of Ansonia.
Dawn was born in New Haven on August 19, 1980, beloved daughter of John J. Lotto Sr. and Rosemarie Reagan Lotto of Ansonia. A graduate of Ansonia High School in 1998, she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Hartford Healthcare doing home hospice care. Nothing was more important to Dawn, than her cherished family.
In addition to her parents and fiancé, she is survived by a son, William A. Sturwold of Ansonia, daughters, Sofiya Marcucio of Ansonia and Gabriella Fucci of Wallingford, a brother, John J. Lotto Jr. of Ansonia, sisters, Amanda Lotto of Ansonia and Samantha Lotto of Wolcott, Goddaughter and niece, Mia Lotto-Garcia and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, especially, Lyesa Hamar of Washington.
Relatives and friends may greet the family and pay their respects on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Thursday, May 19, 2022, her funeral will take place at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti, officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
