Debra L. Marganski, age 55, of Seymour entered into rest on Thursday September 1, 2016 at the Lord Chamberlain Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Stratford. She was born in Derby on February 3, 1961 the daughter of Robert Marganski and the late Eleanor (Milenkevich) Marganski.
Ms. Marganski started her working career as a sales representative at the W.R. Archer Company before becoming an account executive at Winter Brothers Waste Systems being employed for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening and cooking delicious meals. Debra also loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews, especially shopping. She is remembered by family and friends for her tremendous spirit and love of life.
She was the beloved fiancé of Patrick Moran, the cherished sister to her brothers Robert Jr. (Karen), Steven, John (Trish), Alan (Penny), Edward (Lauren), William, Brian, and Paul (Jennifer), the loving sister to her sisters Pat Castle (Richard), Jeanne Millea (Kevin), Carol Ford (Paul), Donna Cybart (Eugene), Linda Zalinsky (Stanley), and Marianne Marganski, and the special aunt to several nieces and nephews. Debra was predeceased by her sister Mary Lou Marganski.
Friends may greet Debra’s family on Monday September 5 from 3 to 6 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. On Tuesday, Friends are invited to go directly Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Dr. Ansonia, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to either the Smilow Cancer Hospital, 20 York St. New Haven, CT 06519, or to the Holy Rosary Church Organ Fund.
