Dennis M. Pardy, 73, of Meriden, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on September 7, 2013, in his home.
Mr. Pardy was born in Derby on Oct. 26, 1939, son of the late Bernard Pardy and Adeline Pastorella Varsanyik. A resident of Meriden since 1977, he was employed as an auto mechanic at Firestone in Meriden for 27 years, until his retirement in 1986. Dennis was an avid fisherman and a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by a son David Pardy of New Haven, a loving brother, Bernard Pardy and his wife Donna of Ansonia and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Pardy.
Visiting will take place on Thursday morning September 12, 2013, from 9 to 10 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:00 am, a funeral service will be held with Rev. Steven Krugel officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
