Diana Garofalo, age 67 , of Derby entered into her eternal rest on Saturday April 20, 2013 in Yale New Haven Hospital.
Diana was born in Derby on Dec. 5, 1945 devoted daughter of the late Agostino “Gus” and Mary (Felice) Garofalo and was a lifelong Derby resident. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is the beloved sister of Frank Garofalo, Peter Garofalo, Robert Garofalo, and his wife Nancy, Richard Garofalo, and the late Marietta Garofalo.
She is also predeceased by her sisters-in-law Gloria Garofalo, Jeannie Garofalo and Christine Garofalo.
Diana is the loving aunt of Robert Garofalo, Jr. and his wife Kristine, and Jeffrey Garofalo, and his wife Keri, and also leaves her cherished great nieces, Emily, and Gianna, and a great nephew Anthony.
Friends may greet her family on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. At 11:15 AM her funeral procession will leave the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. Jude’s Church Derby. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery Derby.
