Dianna Mae (Patrignelli) Koskelowski, 79, of Seymour, peacefully entered eternal life on September 21, 2023, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert Koskelowski, Sr., a former Police Officer & First Selectman of Seymour, and was blessed with a 60-year marriage. Dianna was born in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Emilio (Emil) and Egila Patrignelli.
She was devoutly religious and a communicant of St. Augustine Church of St. Nicholas Parish, where she was a member of the Altar Guild for many years. She worked at Derby Senior Center and moved to be the Secretary for the Economic Development Department in Seymour and then to Assistant Director of the Seymour Senior Center until her retirement. She enjoyed winter snowstorms, reading, solving puzzles, vegetable and flower gardening, knitting, sewing, monthly lunches with her lady friends, family holiday picnics, and especially sunny days at the beach.
Dianna was a kind and generous person who volunteered for many organizations including the Seymour Special Olympics, and Friends of the Seymour Library. Most recently she enjoyed knitting hats for the patients at the Smilow Center in Derby. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur and Donald Patrignelli; and her sister Dorothy Patrignelli. Dianna is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Koskelowski, Sr.; devoted children, Brian Koskelowski of Seymour, Kevin Koskelowski of Ledyard, Robert Koskelowski, Jr., and his wife Stephanie of Seymour, and Kimberly Koskelowski Radcliff, and her husband Brandon of Jupiter FL. She is also survived by her sister, Amelia Adams of Newtown; grandchildren, Heather Radcliff, Nathan Koskelowski, Shawna Radcliff, Meghan Koskelowski, Skyler Radcliff and Cooper Radcliff; and her cherished great grandson, Mason and along with her many nieces and nephews who she adored very much.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday September 30 from 9:00am ‑10:15 am at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home, 47 Washington Ave. Seymour, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church of St. Nicholas Parish with Rev. Thomas Cieslikowski officiating.
