Dolores Pauline Anderson, age 85, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 8, 1932, to Michael and Frances Feltovic, in New York.
She is survived by her Husband of 63 years, Donald “Duke” Anderson, Daughters Donna (Anderson) Bruno (James Bruno), and Doreen (Anderson) Rocco (Peter Rocco – predeceased), 4 granddaughters, Kristen (Bruno) Bedell (Matthew Bedell), Andrea Rocco, Katie Bruno and Dana Rocco and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Kinley Bedell. She was also predeceased by her sister Frances Maciak (Florida) and is survived by her brother Michael Feltovic (Arlene Feltovic) (Florida).
She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Shelton for many years. Dolores was an avid attendant at St. Lawrence Parish in Shelton, Connecticut and enjoyed spending time with friends playing cards, and being with her grandchildren and family.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care provided by the nurses and staff from Connecticut Hospice and Milford Hospital Hospice. Without you, these past few weeks would have been significantly more difficult, as you helped to ease her pain during this time.
Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. On Tuesday, friends are invited to go directly to St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.. Her Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
