Dolores M. (DiLalla) Greene, age 79, entered into peaceful rest on January 24, 2022, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Dolores was born in Derby on October 12, 1942, daughter of the late Joseph and Gina Sarracco DiLalla.
A lifelong resident of Ansonia and Derby, she was a graduate of the Yale School of Radiology and was employed as an X‑ray Technician at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Dolores then went on to own the former Seymour Office Equipment until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, watching the Hallmark channel and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
Dolores leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Sean Greene (Kristine) of Ansonia, a daughter, Jodi L. Story (Paul) of Ansonia, sisters, Edith Behrle (Horace) of Ansonia and Linda DiLalla of Southbury, grandchildren, Thomas Abbott of NC, Nicholas Greene of MA, Ryan Benfield (fiancée Mary Sirochman) of Milford, Gina Greene and Joseph Massa of Ansonia, as well as several nieces and nephews and her canine buddy Marley.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday January 28, 2022, at 10:00 am, meeting directly at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia, for a Mass of Christian Burial.
Entombment in Mount Saint Peter Mausoleum in Derby will immediately follow. Visitation will be held in private.
