Dorothy Jean Donovan, age 71, entered into eternal rest on March 27, 2012 at her home in Derby.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Donovan.
Dorothy was born in West Haven on March 3, 1941 daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie (Melewski) Cesarek. She was employed as an office worker at the former Better Packages for 45 years and was a proud member of the AM Club in Derby.
Dorothy is the loving sister of John Cesarek and his wife Maria, and Edward Cesarek and his wife Carol; and the caring aunt of Melanie Caldwell, John, Terri, and Edward Cesarek. She is also survived by her dear friends, Colleen and Dennis Ahearn.
She was predeceased by her niece, Linda Cesarek and cherished friend Bobbie Scott.
Friends and family may call on Saturday from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby.
On Saturday her funeral will leave the funeral home at 11 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Derby.
Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Memorial contributions made to Storm Engine Company, 151 Olivia Street Derby, CT 06418.
