Dorothy Robertson, an 84 year old Ansonia resident, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Nov. 30.
She was born Feb. 2, 1933 in Skipwith, Virginia, daughter of the late Montique & Rosa Pulliam Day. She worked as a registered nurse for Griffin Hospital for 40 years and was a longtime member and former deaconess at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia. She was also predeceased by her sister Terry Day.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Cynthia Robertson of Ansonia, with whom she resided, niece Joyce Thomas of Chase City, Virginia, nephew Wayne Day of Huntersville, North Carolina, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. before the service. (www.jenkinskingfh.com)
