Douglas Stowell Jr., a 44 year old Oxford resident, passed away surrounded by his family after a short illness May 24th.
He was born April 15, 1969 in Bridgeport, son of the late Douglas Stowell Sr. and Judith Barlow and her husband Richard of Oxford.
He graduated from Central High School in Bridgeport and loved Harley Davidsons, fishing, going to the casino and following The N.Y. Yankees & Giants.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister April Stowell.
In addition to his mother Judith, he is survived by his brother Leonard Stowell of Bridgeport, his sister Elizabeth Seno & her fiancé Anton Ciotta of North Haven, his step brother William Barlow of Waterbury, step sister Larissa Nichols of Oxford, very special friend Karen Lafarier & nieces Katie Stowell, Tiffany Gibson & Shea Nichols & nephews, Edward Gibson, Leonard Stowell Jr. & Loudon Nichols.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Burial will follow in The Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
