Duane Alan Poulin

Duane Alan Poulin, 68, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY

The son of Cecile LaBonte Poulin and the late Edward C. Poulin, Duane is survived by his loving wife Susan, daughter Tabitha (Andrew) Gillings, brother Wayne Poulin, sister Jayne (Steven) Pepe, 3 grandchildren Owen, Issacc and Olivia Gillings, whom he adored, and many nieces and nephews.

Duane was a highly decorated and proud veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the 155th Assault Helicopter Company.

Born in Rumford ME August 16, 1947, Duane resided in Seymour, CT before moving to Schroon Lake NY, where he resided since his discharge from the U.S. Army.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 10:30 am at the Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home in Schroon Lake, NY followed by burial with full military honors at Gerald BH Solomon National Cemetery, Saratoga, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project in Duane’s honor.
