Earlane B. (Hill) Cavallaro, age 74, of Gulf Breeze FL. and formerly of Derby CT., peacefully entered into eternal rest in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to Ralph M. Cavallaro, Jr. She was born in East St. Louis, IL. the daughter of the late Edgar Earl and Margaret Catherine (Roy) Hill.
Mrs. Cavallaro spent many years working in the business office of the West Haven VA Hospital before her retirement. Prior to working at the VA, she was traveling as a military spouse of 20 years working at Loring AFB, Maine and Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. Joined many clubs over the years she always put her heart toward anything she was involved in. Loved going on all her 32 cruises and had 3 planned this year 2024, loved playing bingo, going to the casino, shopping, playing card games, family outing, loved being around people would talk to anyone from an adult to a newborn and including any kind of pets. Loved her current Rusty (Dog) she loved; she bought him treats every time she left the house. With the 52 years of marriage, she always wanted a dog, so we had many. She would treat everyone as family even if she just met you. Her heart was filled of love to give everyone.
Earlane is survived by her children Brent Cavallaro and his wife Tricia, Kristina Cavallaro, Joseph Cavallaro and his wife Cait, her grandchildren Xavier Gonzalez, Matthew Cavallaro, Giovanna Cavallaro, Lexi Cavallaro and Braydon Cavallaro, Jurgen, Nathaniel, Miriam, Jacob her nephews Kenneth Hill, Ronald Hill and his wife Crystal Perez, her nieces Catherine Ratcliff, Diana Arsenault, and Veronica “ Vicky” Starkweather and her husband Don, her sister-in-law Antoinette Swoboda and her brother-in-law Howard Swoboda, as well as 2 great nieces,5 great nephews , and 4 great great niece/nephews. She was predeceased by her son Ralph Tre’ Cavallaro, and her brother William “ Bill” Hill and his wife Remigia Hill.
On Thursday, January 25, 2024, friends are invited to greet Earlane’s family from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Friday, her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. St. Mary Church, 212 Elizabeth St.,Derby . Burial will follow at Mt.
