Eddy Tyler Conklin, age 17, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, February 28, 2016, in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Eddy was born in New Haven on June 6, 1998, beloved son of Edmund M. and Barbara (Wiedmeyer) Conklin, and has been a lifelong Shelton resident.
He was a member of Shelton High School Class of 2016. He was a Varsity basketball player and also played JV baseball. Eddy enjoyed playing “Call of Duty” was a daredevil had a great sense of humor who also loved fishing and all outdoor activities. He will be missed by his many friends who loved him very much.
He is the loving brother of Ashley Conklin, and the cherished grandson of Edmund J. Conklin. He also leaves his Great Aunt Dottie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may greet his family on Friday from 3 to 7 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. On Saturday friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. Burial will be private in Lawn Cemetery in the spring.
