Edith C. Fama, age 84, and a resident of Shelton, entered into eternal rest March 17, 2011.
She was born August 11, 1926 in Derby, daughter of the late Domenick & Catherine Petrini Castaldi.
She worked as a seamstress for Laurel Heights of Shelton for many years and also as a sales representative for Avon. For most of her life she resided in Derby until moving to Shelton six years ago.
She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Castaldi and her sister Rose Culmo. Edith is survived by her son Carl Fama & his wife Maureen of Guyton, Georgia, two daughters Cathi Schneider of Shelton and Phyllis Morrow & her husband Wayne of Ansonia, her brother Joseph Calstaldi & Helen of Trumbull, her sister Mary Husted of Derby, sister in law Helen Castaldi of Shelton and eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Seymour.
