SHELTON: Edmond J. Moroney III, age 67, entered eternal rest on May 15, 2024, at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Edmond was born in Derby on January 8, 1957, son of the late Edmond J. Moroney Jr. and Rose Bashura Moroney. He grew up in Ansonia and was a graduate of Emmett O’Brien Technical High School and later attained his Associate’s degree from the former Waterbury State Technical College. Ed was employed as a supervisor at SNET/AT&T in Waterbury until his retirement. He was a true music lover and enjoyed listening to all genres. A man of great Catholic faith, he would often read the Bible and recite the Rosary. Edmond leaves to cherish his memory, his loving sister, Sharon Tuccio along with several cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visiting hour on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. His funeral will then proceed to the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am.
