Edna May Myers, age 80, entered into eternal rest on Friday afternoon, April 3, 2020, at Shelton Lakes/Apple Rehab due to complications of a stroke.
Mrs. Myers was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica on September 30, 1939. She was employed as a Domestic Helper in Jamaica and came to Ansonia in 2005 to be with her daughter and grandchildren. Edna loved listening to music and was a terrific dancer. She was happiest when surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Paulette Clarke of Seymour, a son, Everald Miller of Jamaica, 11 grandchildren, brothers and sisters in Jamaica and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons, Donny and Derrick Miller.
Due to the health restrictions, the family will celebrate Edna’s life privately with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
