Edward L. “ET” Tevolitz

Edward L. Tevolitz, ET”, age 47, peacefully entered into rest in the arms of his loving wife in his home in Shelton on Friday, March 28, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Christine (McNulty) Tevolitz.

Edward was born in Bridgeport on April 11, 1966, cherished son of Shirley (Freedman) Tevolitz and the late Jack Tevolitz, and was a lifelong resident of Shelton.

He was an electrician by trade and worked for the town of Stratford for over 10 years. ET was a devoted member of the White Hills Voluntary Fire Company Number 5 since 1990. He was Past Captain and was also Past Assistant Chief of the Shelton Fire Department. In 2013, ET was recognized as the Shelton FireFighter of the Year. He was also an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding his Harley. ET was a car enthusiast, loved baseball games and liked to play softball.

In addition to his wife and his mother, Edward leaves two cherished step-daughters, Alyssa and Lauren Rassavage, his sister Ellen Scott and her husband Dennis, his in-laws Dean and Barbara McNulty, a niece, and countless cherished friends.

Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. On Wednesday his funeral will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Lucille Fritz officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
