Edward Peter Healey, age 67, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Edward was born in New Haven, on May 20, 1950, son of the late John J. and Marguerite (McAvay) Healey and has been a long time resident of Ansonia.
He was an avid fisherman, loved to play his guitar, and enjoyed caring for his grandchildren.
Edward is the beloved father of Christopher Healey and his wife Tracy, Shannon Healey and her companion Robert Godfrey, Carrie Polis and her husband Jeffrey, and Kelly Pagano, and her husband Alan. He is the brother of Brian Healey, Robert Healey, and William Healey. He also leaves eight cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother John Healey, Jr. and his sister Nancy Martino.
Friends may greet his family on Thursday (December 28) from 5 to 7 PM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. On Friday friends are invited to a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Shelton.
