Edward V. Mudrey, age 92, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday Feb. 19, 2012 in Griffin Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Edna Cadoret Mudrey.
He was born in Mount Carmel, PA on Nov. 5, 1919 son of the late John and Anna Velancheck Mudrey.
Ed was a W.W. II Army Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. After the war, He became employed as a Tool Maker at Apex Tool for over 30 years until his retirement in 1989.
He is survived by his two daughter’s Carol Gudsnuk Tierney and her husband Frank, and Barbara Saleeme, six grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Michael Saleeme, a grandaughter, Theresa Gardella and his bothers and sisters.
A private service will be held in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Rd. Shelton. Burial with full military honors will be held in Riverside Cemetery. .
