Elaine M. Beardsley, age 82, entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2022, at Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in New Haven. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Beardsley.
Elaine was born in Caribou Maine on September 6, 1939, daughter of the late David and Mary Warner Rossignol. She was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her home and children. She had a fighting and feisty spirit and a strong will to live which pulled her through a few tough times. Elaine was a fan of reading country western books, watching western movies and listening to country music. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting and knitting.
Elaine leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Joseph St. Pierre, Jon St. Pierre and daughters, Evamarie St. Pierre and Heidi St. Pierre, siblings, Richard Rossignol, Donald and wife Carolyn Rossignol, Louis Rossignol, Mary and husband Donald Belleville, Philip and wife Connie Rossignol and Anita Rossignol, grandchildren, Samanthajo and husband Paul Burwell, Jacky Signore, Joe Signore Jr., Latisha Gonzalez, Arielle and husband Brian Kinman, Mariano St. Pierre, Selena Isquierdo, Tristen St. Pierre, Louis St. Pierre, Katelyn St. Pierre, Alyssa St. Pierre, Autumn St. Pierre, and Johnnie St. Pierre Jr. as well as 20 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons, Patrick and Mark St. Pierre and a brother Alfred Rossignol.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, August 29, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 7:00 pm a celebration in memory of Elaine’s life will take place with Rev. Jeffrey Gubbiotti, officiating. Burial will be private.
