Elba Ramirez Toledo, age 101, wife of the late Oscar Toledo and former Derby resident currently of Meriden, entered into eternal rest Aug. 1. She was born June 20, 1921 in Valparaiso Chile, daughter of the late Clodomiro and Berta Del Canto Ramirez. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters. She leaves two sons, Emilio Toledo of Meriden & Raul Toledo of Limache, Chile and her brother Victor Ramirez of Chile.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 4 at 12 NOON at St. Mary’s Church in Derby. Friends may call later on Thursday afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Calling hours will be held from the funeral home on Friday afternoon, also from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
