Eleanor B. Kraemer, age 89, of Shelton, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Griffin Hospital in Derby with her loving family by her side.
She is the devoted wife of John K. Kraemer. Eleanor was born in Derby on September 8, 1923, the daughter of the late Floyd V. and Ethel (Cawthra) Booth.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, sense of humor and infectious laugh. Eleanor will be dearly missed by her husband, family and friends, all of whom were a bit ‘richer’ for having known her in life.
She is the loving mother of Kathy Horton and her husband Tim and Laurie DeRuosi and her partner Heath Stanford, cherished grandmother of Mark Kutis, Michael Horton, Jenna Horton Ryan Dillon, and Sarah DeRuosi, and great-grandmother of Reagan, Dylan, Jackson and Ryleigh Kutis, Kaylin Couto, and Ayden Scinto. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by her beloved son, Ronald B. Kraemer, and her brother, Spencer Booth.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial service on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 25 Church Street, Huntington, CT 06484. Memorial contributions can be made to the Griffin Hospital Development Fund, 130 Division Street, Derby, CT 06418, to benefit the Critical Care Unit.
