Eleanor J. Antico, 78, formerly of Derby and Ansonia, entered into rest on January 1, 2012, at Silver Springs Health Care in Meriden.
Miss Antico was born in Derby on Sept. 24, 1933, daughter of the late Roney and Mary Fama Antico Sr.
She is survived by a sister in law, Josephine Czajkowski Antico of Derby, a nephew, Roney P. Antico (Cheryl) of Ansonia, three nieces, Laura Halpin (Frank) of Ansonia, Cynthia Zuraw (Joseph) of Seymour, and Doreen Corrigan (Peter) of Derby, several great-nieces and nephews, and a great-great nephew. She was predeceased by her loving brother Roney Antico Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday January 5, 2012, at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the family plot in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. Visiting will take place on THURSDAY MORNING from 8:30 am until the procession leaves for church.
