Elizabeth Greta Krueger Klimas, age 90, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Nov 13th.
She was the loving wife of the late Michael Donald Klimas and a lifetime resident of Ansonia. She was born Dec 26, 1929 in Ansonia, daughter of the late John and Mary Graley Krueger. She was a graduate of the Assumption School and a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. She worked as an executive secretary in the comic book division for Charlton Press in Derby before retirement, and was an active member of Shelton Senior Center.
She is survived by her four children, Larry Klimas and Donna LaBossiere, both of Ansonia and Linda Slezak and Diane DeBiase, both of Florida, and her three grandsons, Bobby LaBossiere of Milford and Blake DeBiase and Grant DeBiase, both of Florida. Survivors also include her lifelong best friend, Marion Matis, and stepsister Marsha Drake of Florida and stepbrothers Richard & Larry Krueger.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brother John Krueger and sisters Rose Krueger McLaughlin and Florence Krueger Dojny. Funeral services will be private. She will be buried in the family plot in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association.
