Elizabeth J. “Betty” Robertstad, age 86, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning, September 25, 2021, at the home of her daughter-in-law in Oxford. She was the beloved wife of the late Karl E. Robertstad.
Betty was born in Derby on July 5, 1935, daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Nicosia Violante. She resided in Ansonia and Oxford before retiring to Naples, Florida. Betty was employed at Hershey Metal Products in Ansonia for many years.
She is survived by a grandson, Eirik K. Robertstad of Oxford, a granddaughter, Jessica Smith of Ansonia, great-granddaughters, Melanie and Eris Robertstad, a sister, Alfreda Doherty of Florida, daughter-in-law, Christine Lester of Oxford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Arthur A. Robertstad and Eirik J. Robertstad and sisters, Lorraine Fox and Gloria Gavin.
Per Betty’s request, her funeral service and entombment in Mount Saint Peter’s Garden Mausoleum in Derby will privately take place.
