Elizabeth M. Green, 94, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2012, at Birmingham Health Center in Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late George Green.
Mrs. Green was born in Bridgeport on February 23, 1918, daughter of the late Eugene and Mae Knowles McCormick.
She is survived by a son, Robert J. Green of Ansonia, a daughter, Elizabeth Madden and her husband Peter of Ansonia, five grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Eugene McCormick and a sister, Carol McCormick.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 3, 2012, at 10:30 am at the family plot in Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield. There will be no calling hours. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
