Elizabeth Marie Stauffer, age 81, entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2020, at Westfield Rehab in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to Milton H. Stauffer.
Mrs. Stauffer was born in New Haven on June 28, 1939. She was employed at Monarch Laundry in New Haven for many years and retired from the former Hilltop Health Center in Ansonia. Marie enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and was also quite fond of photography.
In addition to her husband Milton, she is survived by several loving in-laws and nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the family has chosen a private funeral service and burial. The family will announce a memorial to celebrate Elizabeth’s life when we can all safely gather.
