Elizabeth Popowski, a 64 year old Oxford resident, life partner of 42 years and wife of 29 years to Peter J. Popowski, entered into eternal rest Dec. 27 at Griffin Hospital.
She was born Jan. 22, 1956 to the late Sebastian and Elizabeth Witzman Didato. She was predeceased by brother John Didato. Beth worked in the office of UPS in Bridgeport. She loved spending time with family and friends, and most of all she enjoyed helping and caring for others.
In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Janice Didato Bondi and husband Dana of Oxford, her sister Lynn Klubek and husband Michael of Naugatuck, her brother Robert Didato and wife Evelyn of Oxford, niece and goddaughter Samantha Klubek of Naugatuck, and several other nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, Jan 6, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations in Beth’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia has been privileged with arrangements.
