Ella Babin, age 83, of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday November 26, 2013 in Shelton Lakes Convalescent Center. She was the devoted wife of the late Albert Babin.
She was born on May 6, 1930, in Acadieville, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn Babin, and has been a Shelton resident for the past 16 years, previously living in Ansonia, and Bangor, Maine.
Ella was a first class seamstress, at the former Warnaco’s in Bridgeport. She enjoyed playing cards with her late husband and and grandchildren.
She is the beloved mother of Alan Babin and his wife Lori, and Robert Babin, the cherished grandmother of Jacqueline, Michelle, and Trevor. She is the sister of Fidele Bordage, Alyre Bordage, Laurie Bordage, Eleanore Richard, and the late Elzee Bordage, and the late Aurle Bordage.
Friends may greet her family on Saturday in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
