Elsie Bartomioli, age 91, of Derby, entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2023, at Grimes Center. She was the beloved wife to the late Michael F. Bartomioli, Sr.
She was born on October 17, 1931, in Derby, daughter of the late Angelo and Ida Lucarelli. Elsie spent her career working as a seamstress for Griffin Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of the Valley and loved cooking for the holidays. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and joining her coffee crew daily and McDonald’s.
Elsie is survived by her daughters Elsie (John) Killeen and Francine (Mark) Cascagne, son Michael (Teresa) Bartomioli Jr., grandchildren Michael (Lindsay) Bartomioli III, Danielle Bartomioli, Christina Cascagne, Rosalie Cascagne, and Christopher Killeen, great-grandchildren, Michael IV and Nicholas, and brothers Edward Lucarelli, Albert Lucarelli, Alceo Lucarelli, Amos Lucarelli, and Raymond Lucarelli.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby. Her funeral procession will leave the parlor at 10:30 am for her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 212 Elizabeth Street, Derby, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
