Elyse “Lisa” Silberberg Holloway, age 71, wife of 37 years to Samuel Holloway and resident of New Haven, entered into eternal rest Nov. 15.
She was born June 6, 1946 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Herman & Ruth June Block Silberberg.
She attended The Mount Olive Church of God in Christ in Waterbury.
In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Darlene Speight of New Haven, Chandra Winford Atlanta GA., and Andrea James of Upper Marlboro MD, sons Frederick Washington III of Greenville, N.C., Erik & Barry Silberberg, both of New Haven, & Kenny Brown of New Haven, her brothers Alan Silberberg of Bethesda, MD., and William Silberberg of Woodbridge, and 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 24 at 11:00 a.m. at The Christian Love Outreach Center on Derby. Ave. in New Haven. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service begins.
