Emil P. Raccio, 93, a lifelong resident of Derby, entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2016.
Mr. Raccio was born in Derby on May 20, 1923, son of the late Liberato and Daisy DePrisco Raccio. A proud veteran, he honorably served in the U.S. Navy during WW 2.
He is survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Joan Raccio and a sister, Ann DiGiovanni.
Per Emil’s request, his funeral service and burial will be private. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia has been privileged with the arrangements.
