Emile J. Lepage

Emile J. Lepage, 82, of Derby, left to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior on November 7, 2013, at Griffin Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He is the beloved husband of Dolores Camire Lepage for 61 years.

Mr. Lepage was born in Lewiston, ME on July 16, 1931, son of the late Jean and Laura Maheux Lepage. He was employed at the cotton mill and shoe factory in Lewiston until moving to CT in 1964. He then worked in the paint shop at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford for 28 years until his retirement in 1993. Emile was a member of the Sikorsky Teamsters Union and enjoyed exercising, swimming and playing cards.

In addition to his wife Dolores, he is survived by a loving daughter, Peggy Petruccelli and her husband Stephen of Wallingford, grandchildren, Emily Petruccelli Negron (Jorge) of Meriden, Stefani Petruccelli McClure (Evan) of West Haven, Neill Blackwood (Angela) of MD, Amanda Blackwood Johnson (Eric) of OH, a great-grandson, Michael Negron, brothers, Maurice Lepage (Simone) of Derby and Romeo Lepage (Helen) of ME, sisters, Sister Dolores Lepage of Canada, Carmel St. Pierre of ME, and Lucille Gauthier of MA, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Irene Blackwood, a granddaughter, Mallory Petruccelli, brothers, Joseph, Fernand, Bertrand, Leonard and Gustave Lepage and sisters, Murielle Fournier and Jeannette Lepage.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday November 10, 2013, from 2 – 5 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Monday, friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Richard Lynn of Grace Bible Church in Shelton officiating. Per Emile’s request, his burial will be private.
