Ephriam E. Green Jr., age 59, husband of Anita Tinney Green and resident of West Haven, entered into eternal rest Jan. 8.
He was born in New Haven on Dec. 12, 1958, son of the late Ephriam & Christine Stanley Green.
As a youngster, Ephriam attended Macedonia Baptist Church and attended Ansonia High School. He volunteered as a basketball coach mentoring young boys and girls. He worked a tow truck operator and machinist for New Haven Copper.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory his son Ephriam Green III and wife Rakiya of Hamden, daughters Christina & Sabrina Green, both of New Haven, Nicole Green of West Haven and Marquiesce Hudgins of Ansonia, sisters Denise Green of Palmdale, Cal. and Patricia Green of Lewiston, ME., 2 brothers Thomas Green & wife Felicia of North Carolina and Charles Spencer Jr. of Waterbury, and 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday, Jan. 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Memorial services celebrating the life of Ephriam E. Green Jr. will begin at 3:00 p.m.
