Erguder “John” Kahyaoglu, a 65 year old Ansonia resident, husband to Dawn Kahyaoglu and owner & proprietor of J.R.B.’s Family Restaurant, passed unexpectedly March 2, 2022.
He was born Nov. 20, 1956 in Giresun Turkey, son of Hacer Akkaya Kahyaoglu his mother, who resides in Turkey. He is predeceased by his father Fethi. He immigrated to the United States, lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. before moving to Ansonia, CT.
In addition to his wife Dawn, he leaves to cherish his memory his son John John, his daughter-in-law Jocelyn, and his beloved grandson John Jr., all of Ansonia, two brothers Haci & Nick Kahyaoglu, numerous relatives and his two dogs, Hades & Boncok.
Friends may call on Monday, March 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. Funeral services will follow, as well as burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Erguder Kahyaoglu may be made to The Ansonia Animal Shelter, 2 N. Division St. Ansonia, CT.
