Eric E. Beyer, Jr., age 82, of Shelton entered into rest on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of the late Geraldine (Torello) Beyer. Eric was born in Bridgeport on October 13, 1939 son of the late Eric E. Beyer, Sr. and Gladys (Fogg) Beyer and was a lifelong Shelton resident.
He proudly served with the US Air Force. Eric was an owner and operator of Professional Tire from 1979 until his retirement. He loved fishing, outdoors and watching the Hallmark Channel. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.
Eric was the beloved father of Mark Beyer and his wife Lori, Keith Beyer and Stacy Beyer, cherished grandfather of Haley Gould- Beyer, Victoria Gould-Beyer and Jeffrey Gould-Beyer, Jr. and brother of Bruce and Teresa Beyer and Robert and Sandra Beyer. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton. His burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton has been entrusted with his arrangements.
