Eric Figoras, age 85, husband of 56 years to Donna Figoras and resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest June 6, 2016.
He was born in Radviliskis, Lithuania on Oct. 20, 1930, son of the late Evaldas & Emilia Figoras.
An avid Ansonia High School Football & UConn Women’s basketball fan, Eric worked as a machinist for B&D Molded Products in Shelton. He was also a member of The Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oxford where he served as head usher. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory his two sons Ronald Figoras & wife Pamela of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida & Robert Figoras & wife Ann of Durham, CT., his brother John Figoras & wife Peggy of Shelton, 6 grand-children and several nieces & nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 9th at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (http://www.jenkinskingfh.com/) Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11:00 a.m. (directly) at The Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Rd. in Oxford. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his church.
